PhD student at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNICAMP, with emphasis on biophotonics.
She holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (2012) – belonging to the Academic Excellence Group – and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2019).
Between 2012 and 2016, she participated in the development of a communication interface controlled by the eyes for people with motor disabilities, from which she founded the start-up oChat. This start-up was the winner of some competitions such as Start Tel Aviv 2016, APEC Best Award 2016 and Start Up Perú 2015.
She is currently working in the area of development of plasmonic nanoantennas for the detection of neural signals and optical biosensors for the implementation of Lab-on-Chip platforms.
Her main areas of interest include Plasmonics, Optical Biosensors, Graphene Antennas and Assistive Technologies.
